Despite not meeting the Canadian Coast Guard’s requirement of having Canadian Hydrographic charts on board, this is a fine package of chart copies for Vancouver Island’s West Coast, certainly suitable for kayakers and other small boats that do not require regular charts. The 11” X 17”, spiral-bound chart book has all the large and small scale charts for the West Coast in 1:1 ratio with the original charts, and reproduced in full color on waterproof paper. It includes an alphabetical index of places and aerial color photographs to provide inspiration.
