Armchair Sailor respects your privacy, and will never share your name, address, phone number, or e-mail address information with anyone. Your privacy is secure through Yahoo Shopping Cart. Shoppers have buyer protection through Yahoo! Shopping and are protected from types of fraud by the Yahoo! Buyer Protection Program.

Shipping Policy

Shipping charges are based on the dollar amount of your order and your chosen shipping method. They are shown on the last page of your order form. NOTE: This value-based method of determining shipping charges is used for simplicity. The actual shipping charge could be less than that derived through this value-based formula, depending on the actual weight and destination of the order. It will NOT, however, exceed the stated amount. If you have questions regarding your shipping charges please feel free to contact us.

Sales Tax

Sales tax must be charged on orders shipped within the state of Washington. As of July 1st, 2008 Washington State has implemented a "Destination-Based" sales tax system. Retailers in the state of Washington are required to collect sales tax based on the destination of the shipment or delivery. This only affects shipments and deliveries to locations within Washington state. The sales tax amount for orders shipped within the state of Washington will be calculated after your order has been placed. The amount may be less but will not exceed the amount quoted.

There is no sales tax on deliveries outside the state of Washington.
